Senior Indirect Tax Advisor with Legal Background

About the role

We are looking for senior tax professionals with a legal background to join EY’s Greek Tax Advisory team. You will work on indirect tax projects—including VAT, customs and excise duties—and provide controversy services for clients across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver indirect tax advice and controversy support to clients.
• Handle complex VAT, customs and excise matters and resolve disputes.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Identify tax risks and ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and development of junior team members.

Required profile

• Legal background with solid experience in indirect tax.
• Proven ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to develop continuously through training and coaching.
