Junior Quality Engineer

About the role

The Junior Quality Engineer will support the design, execution, and documentation of software tests to ensure the stability and quality of digital products and enterprise systems. You will start with functional and exploratory testing while progressively learning test‑automation tools and AI‑enabled testing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases for functional integration and regression testing based on business requirements and user stories.
• Log and track issues in collaboration with developers and analysts using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Apply critical‑thinking to uncover edge cases and validate real‑world user behavior.
• Maintain clear test documentation and contribute to test reports and knowledge bases.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including developers, analysts, and other QA engineers—to understand system functionality and test coverage needs.
• Participate in learning automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) under senior mentorship.
• Contribute to the development, evaluation, and adoption of AI‑powered solutions that accelerate testing, leveraging Generative AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT.
