Junior Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual)

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team of IT professionals serving a major client in the Greek market. You will be responsible for creating and executing manual test scenarios that ensure high‑quality delivery of technology‑based business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute testing scenarios and test cases for package applications built with custom technologies.
• Perform functional manual testing during SIT and UAT phases.
• Interpret business requirements and translate them into optimized test scenarios.
• Plan testing activities, estimate effort, and identify test environment and data needs.
• Log defects, report test status, and support defect resolution.
• Analyze test outcomes to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a testing engineer.
• Experience in the banking sector, especially with core banking applications, is a strong asset.
• Proven ability to document and execute test scenarios and verify system compliance with requirements.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders, project managers, and client‑facing teams.
