Housekeeping Manager

About the role

Canaves Collection is looking for a motivated Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team at Canaves Oia Suites in the picturesque village of Oia, Santorini. The role is central to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and delivering exceptional guest experiences across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the housekeeping team to ensure professional performance and high standards.
• Develop, implement and monitor housekeeping procedures, ensuring hygiene, resource efficiency and compliance with company standards.
• Oversee daily operations, inspecting guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces for cleanliness and quality.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Maintenance and procurement to guarantee smooth operations and adequate supply of cleaning materials.
• Address guest feedback related to housekeeping promptly and effectively.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training for staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar housekeeping management role within the hospitality industry.
• Degree in Tourism or Hospitality.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and solve problems proactively.
• Fluent command of English.
