DevOps Engineer – CI/CD Automation for Digital Banking

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a new digital banking application. The role operates within an enterprise banking environment and supports both .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript applications throughout the build, test and deployment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines.
• Automate application build, test, packaging and deployment processes.
• Create and maintain reusable pipeline configurations and deployment workflows.
• Integrate automated testing and code‑quality checks into pipelines.
• Troubleshoot pipeline, build and deployment failures.
• Collaborate closely with Development, QA and Integration teams.
• Support applications built with .NET and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Improve pipeline reliability, performance, security and developer experience.
• Maintain technical documentation for CI/CD processes.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure Pipelines.
• Strong Bash and PowerShell scripting abilities.
• Familiarity with .NET/C# build and deployment to IIS.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript build tools like Webpack.
• Understanding of secure secret storage (e.g., Azure Key Vault) and security best practices for pipelines.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
