Data Scientist / Data Analyst

About the role

EY is seeking a motivated Data Scientist / Data Analyst to join its AI & Data team within the Consulting practice. You will work on multi‑disciplinary projects across the EMEIA region, supporting global financial and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and apply appropriate modeling techniques to answer critical business questions.
• Perform data management, integration, and visualization to generate actionable insights.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical and machine‑learning models for classification, prediction, recommendation, clustering, forecasting and optimization.
• Prepare and deliver presentations of modeling results and project proposals.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• 2‑7 years of relevant work or research experience, with at least 2 years in a commercial/industrial setting.
• Strong background in data modeling, management of large disparate datasets, and predictive modeling.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis and model development.
• Experience with statistical packages such as SAS and SPSS.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with database concepts.
