Assistant Waiter - Banquets

About the role

The Assistant Waiter – Banquets supports the banquet team in delivering seamless food and beverage service for events. You will prepare stations, serve guests, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee breaks, carts, and stations with food and beverages according to the Banquet Event Order.
• Set up tables, buffets, dessert and cordial carts, and ensure all service areas are ready.
• Communicate special dietary needs, allergies, and guest requests to the kitchen.
• Clear courses, crumb tables, and replenish buffet items to keep presentations fresh.
• Monitor tableware condition and maintain cleanliness of assigned stations.
• Bus tables by separating and removing used dishware.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Less than one year of related experience in food and beverage service.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb unaided and up to 75 lb with assistance.
• Capability to read small print and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting, and reaching.
