Account Manager – Food & Beverage (Athens)

About the role

Ecolab is seeking an Account Manager for its Food & Beverage team in Athens, Greece. The role is field‑based, requiring regular travel across South Greece to support and grow customer accounts in the food, beverage and dairy manufacturing sectors. You will combine technical sales expertise with service excellence to help customers maintain high hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts within the assigned territory, ensuring exceptional hygiene performance and technical service delivery.
• Achieve territory sales targets by identifying growth opportunities, upselling innovative solutions, and developing new business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with plant managers, operational leaders and executive decision‑makers.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activities, opportunities and action plans using CRM and internal reporting tools.
• Provide technical consultation and support to align customer hygiene requirements with agreed Service Level Commitments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food, beverage or dairy manufacturing plant sanitation.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting sales targets.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across South Greece.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems for tracking customer interactions and sales pipelines.
