Food Safety Supervisor

About the role

PepsiCo is looking for a Food Safety Supervisor to lead and maintain the company’s quality systems, food safety, and HACCP programs across its manufacturing sites. The role will act as the primary point of contact for quality and safety issues, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain quality systems, specifications, procedures, and analytical methods.
• Serve as the go‑to person for packaging and product quality issues, including packet weight control.
• Generate periodic reports on Quality KPIs, evaluate performance against targets, and drive continuous improvement actions.
• Participate in packaging and process meetings, monitoring product quality to meet Gold Standard/PepsiCo standards.
• Plan, organize, and execute internal quality and environmental audits; act as external auditor for QC systems.
• Assess training needs and deliver annual training programs for quality systems.
• Maintain logs for hold/release issues, initiate preventative actions, and ensure implementation.
• Monitor traceability procedures for raw materials and finished products, coordinating mock recalls and traceability exercises.
• Conduct internal food safety inspections, manage the HACCP program, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Keep food safety and sanitation records up to date and produce related reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in implementing and managing quality systems within a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in food safety, HACCP, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience conducting internal and external audits and leading training initiatives.
• Ability to analyze quality data, generate KPI reports, and drive improvement plans.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for packaging and product quality issues.
