Senior Internal Auditor – IT & Data Analytics

About the role

Alpha Bank is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor specialized in IT and Data Analytics to provide independent assurance and advisory services across the bank’s technology and data functions. The role involves collaborating with IT, cyber security, digital banking and data governance teams to evaluate risk and control effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of IT processes at group level.
• Evaluate design and operational effectiveness of information systems and applications.
• Develop and apply data‑analytics capabilities within the internal audit function.
• Review, evaluate and test application controls.
• Document audit workpapers, findings and recommendations.
• Stay updated on audit standards and apply frameworks such as IIA, ISACA‑CoBIT and ITIL.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• 7‑10 years of experience in network, system, database, development or application administration, IT security, data processing or data visualization.
• Experience in ICT audit; banking experience is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP or CISM are advantageous.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
