Senior Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing product data‑science team. You will design, develop and maintain machine‑learning models and pipelines that power advertising‑trading recommendations and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into end‑to‑end data‑science solutions and manage development pipelines.
• Take full ownership of data‑science development across multiple product features.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and commercial stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Identify high‑impact ML features, turn them into product functionalities, and evaluate associated risks.
• Communicate proactively with project managers, resolve technical challenges and propose enhancements.
• Support the team lead by recommending code and feature optimisations to reduce processing and storage costs.
• Consider compute and storage expenses during code reviews and ensure logical consistency.
• Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members on technical skills.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data‑science projects.
• Strong knowledge of machine‑learning techniques (clustering, regression, classification, deep learning).
• Experience with Databricks or similar notebook environments.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for large‑scale data processing.
• Advanced SQL skills and intermediate Excel proficiency.
• Ability to translate business needs into effective data‑science solutions.
• Experience in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and big‑data environments.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms for deploying pipelines and models.
• Knowledge of NLP, generative AI and MLOps.
• Strong written and verbal English communication (B2+).
