Senior Cloud Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Cloud Security Engineer will lead the design, implementation and evolution of secure, automated cloud platforms across a multi‑cloud environment. This role is pivotal in defining security standards, reference architectures and best practices that enable product teams to deliver reliable and secure solutions at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and evolve security controls across AWS, Azure and/or GCP in line with enterprise architecture principles.
• Develop and maintain secure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, OpenTofu or similar tools.
• Create and manage reusable secure cloud modules, guardrails and reference architectures.
• Integrate security and compliance requirements into IaC and CI/CD pipelines (policy as code, pipeline security gates).
• Automate security control provisioning, posture remediation and lifecycle management.
• Establish and improve security observability, monitoring, detection and alerting for cloud platforms.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex cloud security incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with security, risk and compliance teams to support audits and governance initiatives.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on experience in cloud security engineering within multi‑cloud environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor other engineers.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security standards and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in automating security processes and integrating security into DevOps workflows.
