IT Support & Systems Specialist (Windows/Linux & Veeam)

About the role

Digea, Greece's digital terrestrial television provider, is looking for an IT Support & Systems Specialist to join its permanent team in Marousi. You will combine end‑user assistance with the administration of Windows and Linux servers, virtualization, and backup solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows and Linux servers and Hyper‑V virtual environments.
• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication jobs, perform restore tests and troubleshoot failures.
• Administer Active Directory (users, groups, GPOs) and core domain services such as DNS, DHCP and print services.
• Monitor LAN/WAN health, server performance and security alerts to ensure high availability.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical documentation for processes, hardware assets and network configurations.
• Provide L1/L2 support locally or remotely, handling hardware/software setups and Microsoft 365 issues.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server administration.
• Basic Linux command‑line and service management knowledge.
• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication and Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls).
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude and willingness to tackle new technical challenges.
