IT Support & Operations Technician

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support & Operations Technician to join our IT Department within the Operations & Information Systems Security Division. The role focuses on end‑user support, service‑desk activities, workplace technologies and day‑to‑day IT operations while offering exposure to Microsoft 365, endpoint management, networking and cybersecurity tools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for hardware, software, OS, network and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Handle incidents and service requests via the company ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot Windows workstations, laptops, peripherals, printers and business applications.
• Support daily use of Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and related Microsoft 365 services.
• Perform user onboarding/offboarding, account preparation and device setup.
• Assist with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID account and access management.
• Configure, deploy and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
• Support endpoint management, software deployment, patching and device configuration through Microsoft Intune.
• Diagnose basic network connectivity, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS and DHCP issues.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, documentation and support records.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Computer Science, IT, Networks or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication, collaboration and documentation abilities.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 applications.
• Basic Microsoft 365 administration.
• Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Fundamental networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN).
• Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• PC hardware and peripheral troubleshooting.
• Windows Server, virtualization and backup concepts (advantageous).
