IT Auditor – Technology Risk Assurance

About the role

As a Consultant in EY's Technology Risk Assurance team, you will help clients gain a reliable overview of their risk landscape and the controls in place. You will contribute to building trust in financial reporting and internal control over financial reporting, while providing assurance and thought leadership on risk and control matters.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in IT assurance audits by conducting client interviews, testing, and documenting Test of Design and Test of Operating Effectiveness for General IT Controls (ITGCs) and Application Controls.
• Support or lead audits/assessments of IT processes against frameworks such as CoBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001/02.
• Design audit procedures to achieve documented audit objectives and execute them across multiple platforms and ERP systems (Windows, SAP, Unix, Hyperion Financial Management, SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Oracle, AS400).
• Perform IT controls reviews, security assessments, and IT attestations to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (SOx, ISAE3402, SOC2).
• Prepare audit reports for clients and key stakeholders and contribute to productive working relationships.

Required profile

• Experience delivering IT assurance services and conducting audits for financial reporting controls.
• Ability to analyze risk landscapes, design audit procedures, and communicate findings clearly.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as SOx, ISAE3402, and SOC2.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with diverse client teams and internal EY professionals.
