Information Technology Officer

About the role

The Information Technology Officer will be responsible for managing and supporting the company’s core IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable operation of ERP and Microsoft services. This role works closely with office staff and the shipping operations team to deliver technical solutions and maintain system integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and monitor Navision ERP, handling configuration changes and costing proposals.
• Manage Microsoft software ecosystem including Active Directory, Exchange Server and SQL databases.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues, diagnosing hardware and software faults.
• Provide day‑to‑day support to office personnel, resolving technical problems promptly.
• Support software development initiatives and ensure compliance with IT SOX procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Engineering, IT or Telecommunications (Master’s degree a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience within the shipping industry.
• Strong communication skills in English.
