Consumer Insights Data Specialist

About the role

The Consumer Insights Data Specialist will turn consumer, market and operational data into actionable intelligence that supports business growth and strategic decision‑making. Working within a global team, you will bridge business needs, analytics and emerging AI technologies to deliver data‑driven insights across categories and functions.

Key responsibilities

• Support key business processes by translating challenges into analytical solutions for sales, marketing and commercial teams.
• Monitor macro‑economic trends, consumer behaviour, category performance and innovation effectiveness to spot opportunities and risks.
• Integrate diverse data sources—including consumer research, syndicated market data, retail audits, CRM, e‑commerce and internal sales data—to create a holistic performance view.
• Design, build and maintain automated dashboards, KPI scorecards and self‑service reporting solutions using Power BI and other visualization tools.
• Deliver clear business recommendations through compelling data visualisation and storytelling.
• Champion AI adoption by identifying automation opportunities, building AI‑enabled workflows and evaluating new analytical tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 3–4 years of experience in consumer insights analytics, business intelligence, market research or related FMCG/retail environments.
• Advanced analytical ability to translate complex data into concise business recommendations.
• Proficiency with Power BI or Tableau, advanced Excel skills, and experience handling large, diverse datasets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction, automation and analytical workflows.
