Cash Accounting Clerk

About the role

The Cash Accounting Clerk ensures accurate, timely, and compliant management of cash, Cash on Delivery (COD) and provincial collections. Working at UPS in Koropi, you will safeguard company funds, maintain financial records, and act as the primary contact for COD‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cash handling and reconcile cash and COD collections in the General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Receivable (AR) sub‑ledger.
• Record and reconcile customer cash collections, including subcontractor collections by waybill.
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external COD inquiries, resolving payment and shipment issues.
• Control, monitor and reconcile credit‑card transactions processed through POS terminals and online channels.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations of cash and bank GL accounts and handle daily ECM requests.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies and statutory requirements, and identify process‑improvement opportunities.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with operational, customer service and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to established service levels and deadlines.
