Audit Assistant

About the role

Deloitte’s Alexander Competence Center in Thessaloniki is looking for a motivated Audit Assistant to join its audit team. You will work on high‑quality financial statement audits, gaining hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge technologies and professional development programs.

Key responsibilities

• Perform selected audit activities throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Pre‑process financial data, accounting records, and statements for audit planning, testing, and finalisation.
• Prepare audit documentation using Deloitte’s audit software and standard templates.
• Participate in customised training and coaching to build technical independence.
• Collaborate with team members and leaders to resolve data issues and ensure accuracy.
• Deliver work to the highest standard, meeting deadlines and complying with Deloitte policies and regulatory independence requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or a related field.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong interest in audit and analytical thinking.
• Attention to detail, responsibility and results‑orientation.
• Effective communication and systematic work approach.
• Ability to prioritise workload under pressure and work proactively in a team.
• Interest in an international business environment and professional growth.
