Assurance Risk Management Experienced Associate

About the role

Join PwC Greece’s Assurance Risk Management team as an Experienced Associate, supporting clients in navigating complex risk, quality and compliance challenges. You will work closely with engagement teams to ensure consistent application of professional standards and internal policies while developing practical risk‑based recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Support engagement teams in navigating risk, quality and compliance requirements.
• Review engagement letters, proposals and contractual documentation, flagging deviations from approved terms.
• Assess risk management consultations and draft clear, well‑supported recommendations.
• Monitor compliance with risk procedures, maintain accurate records and contribute to periodic reporting and remediation follow‑up.
• Research regulatory, professional and internal policy developments and summarise practical implications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in external/internal audit, assurance risk management, compliance or quality, preferably within a Big 4 or corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek.
• Effective organization and time‑management skills, able to handle competing priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (formulas, PivotTables, data validation, conditional formatting).
• Maintaining trackers, reconciliations and management reports.
