Art Teacher

About the role

The school is seeking a qualified Art Teacher to plan and deliver creative lessons, support student wellbeing, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves classroom instruction, assessment, and participation in school-wide activities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and email lesson plans to the Head of Level and Academic Coordinator.
• Prepare materials, maintain grade books, enter grades, and design monthly assessments.
• Decorate the classroom, supervise playground duties, and record daily attendance.
• Collaborate with the Psychology Department and Academic Coordinator to support students with special needs, behavioral or emotional issues.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, parent meetings, and school events, and organize community service projects.
• Monitor homework board, encourage student participation in sub‑committees, and maintain open communication with parents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity and inclusion principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital teaching tools.
• Intermediate‑level Microsoft Office skills.
