Accountant

About the role

TMF Group is seeking an Accountant to support its international client base. The role involves managing accounting and tax processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal procedures, and contributing to the preparation and review of financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of accounting and tax activities for clients, delivering work accurately and on time.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while upholding TMF’s reputation.
• Provide exceptional customer service, following the Service Promise guidelines.
• Verify accuracy, completeness and consistency of accounting information received.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation for all client records.
• Extract financial information from legal documents and process relevant entries.
• Draft primary documents for sales, expense reports, fixed assets and inventory in line with statutory requirements.
• Prepare supporting analysis of balance‑sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare balance‑sheet, income statements and other required accounting reports.
• Meet statutory and corporate deadlines for each client.
• Assist during statutory or internal audits and support cash‑management activities.
